ZERO WASTE

The whole basis of Lambani Stiches is to use every bit of fabric that you own/come accross. They have always recycled- even unthreading their old saris to reuse the yarn for the stiching. But even today these women do not like to waste anything. This is something you might like to think about when designing and making your samples. Can you find a way to use every offcut? Maybe by clever pattern cutting or using the offcuts in other samples? What shapes can you play around with?
